ISP Seal Indiana State Police

Effective January 1, 2017, The Indiana State Police Firearms Licensing Unit will no longer accept payment for firearms license applications, duplicate license applications or manual inked fingerprint cards by mail. If a payment or fingerprint card is received by mail, it will be returned to the applicant.

Exceptions to the policy can be made on a case by case basis at the request of the local agency. The local agency should contact either Unit Supervisor Kim Cross at kcross@isp.in.gov or 317-232-8269 or Unit Commander Lt. Michael S. Rogers at mrogers@isp.in.gov or 317-232-8263 to request an exemption.
